Diego Castaneda

Diego Castaneda is a Mechanical Engineer in Training at DIALOG since April 2023, bringing extensive experience from Cyclone Manufacturing where roles included Jr. Manufacturing Engineer, Product Cost Estimator, and CNC Lead Hand from February 2017 to May 2023. At Cyclone, responsibilities encompassed leading shop floor operations, inspecting and approving machined pieces, resolving machining issues, and operating CNC milling machines while ensuring adherence to engineering specifications. Prior to this, Diego held positions as a Customer Service Representative at Home Hardware Stores Limited and a Mechanical Product Designer at March of Dimes Canada, where contributions included researching design proposals, developing layouts using 3D CAD software, and creating engineering drawings. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lakehead University and a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology from George Brown College, complemented by ongoing studies for a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Universidad de Los Andes.
