Dong Kim

Dong Kim is a seasoned professional in architecture and design, currently serving as Principal at DIALOG since October 2020. Previously, Dong held the position of Principal at Byrens Kim Design Works from January 2010 to October 2020, and was also a Project Manager at Charles Jennings Architects, overseeing significant projects. Active in the community, Dong is a member of the Scholarship Foundation Board of Directors for the Kiwanis Club of Oakland, contributing to the management of assets that support college scholarships for local high school students. In addition to architectural practice, Dong has served on the Board of Directors for the American Institute of Architects East Bay and taught as Adjunct Faculty at Chabot College, specializing in 3D modeling education. Earlier professional experiences include an Associate role at Byrens Associates and teaching engagements during the early career at Chabot College. Dong holds a BA in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.
