Eddie

Eddie Ma is a seasoned data engineer and data curation scientist at Dialpad since July 2018, specializing in DevOps for data science, building pipelines for Automatic Speech Recognition and Language Modeling. Concurrently, Eddie has served as a data analyst at the University of Guelph since March 2011, where responsibilities include developing software for image analysis and deploying algorithms for data processing. Eddie's previous experience includes a role as a software developer and analyst at Barcode of Life Data Systems from January 2015 to July 2018, focusing on machine learning in bioinformatics. Eddie holds a PhD in Computer Science, an M.Sc. in Applied Computer Science, and a B.Sc. in Biomedical Science from the University of Guelph, the latter with a minor in Computing and Information Science.
