Max Wardell is an experienced engineering manager and software engineer with a strong background in telecommunications and software development. Currently serving as Engineering Manager and previously as Sr. Software Engineer at Dialpad since July 2017, Max has focused on driving innovation in communication technologies. Prior to Dialpad, Max worked at Broadcom Inc. from March 2013 to June 2017, where significant contributions included implementing voice features for DOCSIS 3.1 certification, optimizing low-level functionalities in C and C++, and successfully handling international VoIP-related crisis support. Max also completed a co-op as a Software Engineer at Broadcom, where foundational work on DSL VoIP systems and embedded software development was performed. Max holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Software Engineering from Simon Fraser University and a Diploma of Technology in Data Communications & Internetworking from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
