Robert Ewing has a wide range of experience in the financial industry. Robert is currently serving as an Independent Non-Executive Board Member for Chenghe Acquisition Company, a NASDAQ listed Special Purpose Acquisition Company. Robert is also a member of the Audit Committee.

Previously, Robert worked as a Business Strategy Consultant to the CEO at Diametric Capital since 2016. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of US Equity at Putnam Investments for eight years, where they directed strategy and led the turn-around effort of Putnam's large-cap domestic research and portfolio management. Robert managed a team of 45+ analysts and portfolio managers and was the sole portfolio manager for the $4 billion Putnam Fund for Growth and Income.

Before joining Putnam Investments, Robert co-founded and built an investment operation for RiverSource, then known as American Express Financial. Robert grew the team from three founders to over 45 investment professionals, managing over $36 billion in peak assets. Robert was responsible for the strategic direction, leadership, investment process, and management of the equity portions of the balanced funds.

Robert's career in the financial industry began at Fidelity Investments in 1990, where they worked as a Portfolio Manager. Robert demonstrated career progression, taking on progressively senior assignments, including Associate, Analyst, Portfolio Assistant, Assistant Research Director, Financials Sector Leader, and ultimately, Portfolio Manager. Robert led the Fidelity Balanced Fund, which received recognition as a Best in Class Fund from Mutual Fund Magazine in 2001 and 2002.

Robert Ewing attended Boston College from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance and Economics.
