David Grinter

David Grinter is a highly experienced scientist specializing in catalysis and surface science. Currently serving as a Senior Beamline Scientist at Diamond Light Source since January 2017, David previously held the position of Beamline Scientist. Prior roles include Research Associate at Brookhaven National Laboratory from January 2015 to December 2016, focusing on the mechanistic understanding of heterogeneous catalysis for advanced fuels and energy conversion. David's expertise further extends to post-doctoral research at University College London, where work involved fundamental surface science of catalytic systems. David obtained a PhD in Chemistry from University College London in 2011 and a MSc in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge in 2007.
