Werner Mäntele

Co-Founder & Head of Research and Development at DiaMonTech AG

Werner Mäntele's work experience includes founding DiaMonTech GmbH in 2015 and serving as the Head of Research and Development. Prior to that, they were a University Professor at Goethe-Universität Frankfurt a. Main from 1997 onwards. Before their tenure at Goethe-Universität, they were a University Professor at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg from 1994 to 1997. Werner Mäntele also held various positions at the University of Freiburg, including Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Research Associate, and Research Assistant from 1975 to 1990.

Werner Mäntele has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemistry from The University of Freiburg. Werner also holds a Master's degree in Physics from the same institution. In addition, they obtained a Habilitation degree in Biology, General from The University of Freiburg. Lastly, they were a Johnson Foundation Visiting Fellow in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology at the University of Pennsylvania.
