Mark Polanyi has a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in various roles and industries. Mark is currently working as the Chief Accountant/Finance Manager at Diatron Medical Instruments since May 2021. Prior to this, Mark held the same role at Ariston Thermo Group from December 2015 to February 2021. Mark also worked as the Chief Accountant/Financial Controller at Hungarian Horizon, an affiliate of Aspect Energy based in Denver, from October 2013 to November 2015. Before that, Mark worked as a Financial Controller at KCI Medical from May 2010 to February 2013. Mark began their career as an Auditor at Unisys from April 2007 to April 2010. Mark also worked as a Financial Analyst at Telenor Magyarország/Digitania from August 2002 to March 2007 and started their career as an Auditor at Arthur Andersen from August 1999 to August 2002.
Mark Polanyi has obtained certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a registered Chartered Accountant. Mark also pursued higher education at Corvinus University of Budapest, where they earned a degree in Finance & Accountancy.

In 2016, Diatron MI was acquired by Stratec Biomedical AG, a world leading partner for development and manufacturing of technological and scientific solutions for the life science industry and specializes in instrumentation, software and sample preparation products and services for in vitro diagnostics (IVD).
