DİBA R&D Engineering Company was established by Prof.Dr. Hüsnü Gerengi within the
framework of KOSGEB R&D Innovation Project to produce construction chemicals, metal
working fluids, adhesives and corrosion inhibitors.
Prof. Dr. Hüsnü Gerengi has been one of the two members representing Turkey in the
International Corrosion Council (ICC) since 2015. He has been a visiting professor at the
University of Bergamo, Italy, between 2020 and 2022. Most of Dr Gerengi's scientific studies
are aimed at solving industrial problems. He has given numerous invited lectures at many
national and international conferences and has authored more than 70 scientific papers in
SCI-indexed high-impact journals. He has conducted scientific studies on the corrosion
engineering science.
The main objectives of DİBA R&D Engineering Company can be listed as follows;
1. To carry out R&D studies and consultancy for the development of corrosion resistant
materials and to carry out studies to elucidate the corrosion mechanism of metals
depending on the environment,
2. To provide innovative solutions to problems encountered in the plastics and rubber
industries,
3. To develop the products needed by the industry and to find solutions to the problems
they face,
4. To pioneer new technologies and gain competitive advantage by making new projects
and patent applications in order to carry out R&D activities in order to find solutions
to the problems of the chemical industry.
5. To supply our own patented products to companies in line with demand.
6. To find solutions to the corrosion-related problems of the industry and to guide them.
7. To provide a road map for companies in the field of rebar corrosion and biodegradable
implant technologies.
