Michael Painesis

Michael Painesis is the Director of Perlite Mines and Central U.S. at Dicalite Management Group, where they lead upstream perlite operations, including two mines and an ore processing plant. With over 20 years of experience in major industrial minerals companies, Michael has held various leadership roles, including General Manager at S&B and Plant Manager at Imerys. They have demonstrated success in managing operations, maintaining profitability, and ensuring environmental compliance while fostering team development and corporate culture. Michael is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Mining Engineering and Metallurgy at the National Technical University of Athens.
