Justin Packer has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Justin started their career as a Network Analyst Assistant at Saginaw Valley State University, where they maintained network equipment and resolved network-related issues. Justin then joined PC&I Security & Technology as a Senior Lead Technician, where they not only installed and programmed security equipment but also managed other technicians and provided customer support. Justin further expanded their technical skills by working at Vidcom Solutions as a Technician, where they wired and set up various security systems and trained clients on their use. At Klimmek Technologies, they served as a Technician and was responsible for installing network equipment and reorganizing data closets. Justin's most recent role was as a Telephony Software Engineer at DICE Corporation, where they utilized their software engineering skills. Additionally, they are also a Co-Owner of Packer Homestead.

Justin Packer obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Saginaw Valley State University, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. In 2002, they also received A+ Hardware training from New Horizons Computer Learning Center. In addition to their formal education, Justin has completed several certifications. In 2012, they obtained a Certification of Attendance from Fire-Lite Alarms by Honeywell. Justin also underwent training in ExacqVision and Kantech, both in 2012. In 2016, Justin obtained the dCAA certification from Digium. Recently, in April 2020, they completed courses in "Docker and Kubernetes: The Complete Guide" and "The Complete GitHub Actions & Workflows Guide" offered by Udemy.
