Bill Honaker

Bill (William) Honaker is an Intellectual Property attorney and speaker with over 35 years of experience in the field. Currently an Equity Partner at Dickinson Wright PLLC, they focus on protecting intangible assets such as brands, content, and technology. Previously, Bill held equity partner positions at several firms, including Dykema and Howard & Howard Attorneys PLLC. Bill also served as a Patent Examiner at the USPTO and worked as a Court Clerk at the Toledo Municipal Court early in their career. They hold a Juris Doctor from The University of Toledo College of Law and a Doctor of Law from Georgetown University Law Center, and are the author of "Turn Your Ideas into Gold - A Business Owner’s Guide to Intellectual Property."
