Chris Mitchell

Chris Mitchell has been providing independent legal and creative solutions for clients since 1994, specializing in intellectual property across various industries including software and medical devices. They have served as a partner at Dickinson Wright PLLC since 2011, and previously held positions as a shareholder at Young Basile, PC, and an IP attorney at Butzel Long. As an adjunct professor at Thomas M. Cooley Law School from 2011 to 2013, Chris shared their extensive knowledge of law. Admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Chris is also a registered agent with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office and has represented clients in multiple U.S. courts. They earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Kenyon College.
