They are a registered Patent Attorney with extensive experience in litigating various intellectual property cases, including patent and trademark disputes, and they advise clients on privacy and generative artificial intelligence issues. Previously, Lael spent two decades at Ropers, Majeski, Kohn & Bentley as a partner, focusing on patent litigation and intellectual property enforcement, and worked as an associate at Hartnett & Associates early in their career. Lael holds a Juris Doctorate in Intellectual Property & Technology from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law and is an IAPP-Certified Information Privacy Professional.
