DICTU, onderdeel van het Ministerie van Economische Zaken, is specialist in het ontwikkelen- en beheren van systemen en applicaties, die essentieel zijn in strategisch werk bij de overheid en het bedrijfsleven. Ook speelt DICTU een rol bij de vorming van een rijksbreed cluster van ICT voorzieningen. 

DICTU monitort 24 uur per dag 365 dagen per jaar de systemen die voor de klant kritisch zijn. Alle processen, systemen en applicaties voldoen aan de strenge eisen van de internationale informatiebeveiligingsnorm ISO 27001. DICTU bezit dan ook het ISO 27001 certificaat.
