Mark Bugden is a Machine Learning Researcher at dida Machine Learning since April 2023, focusing on developing customized AI solutions and integrating theoretical and practical applications. Prior to this role, Mark served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior from June 2021 to April 2023, where research involved mathematically modeling swarm behavior through fluid mechanics and utilizing Machine Learning Algorithms and Physics-Informed Neural Networks. Mark's academic trajectory includes a two-year postdoctoral position at Charles University from 2019 to 2021, primarily investigating string theory and black hole phenomena, as well as a six-month postdoctoral role at The Australian National University in late 2018 to early 2019 to extend PhD results. Mark earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from The Australian National University (2014-2019) and holds dual bachelor's degrees in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Wollongong (2009-2013).
