John Capps

John Capps is a seasoned professional in DevOps and infrastructure management, currently serving as the DevOps Lead at Diesta since February 2025. Previously held the position of Vice President of Infrastructure at VIDA Digital Identity, overseeing a multi-functional team responsible for various business functions including Security Analytics and Cloud Operations. Capps has extensive experience across major companies such as Amazon Web Services, where contributions included delivering the AWS platform and engaging in customer implementations. Additional roles include positions at Exertis Ztorm AB, OptioLabs, Videology, Millennial Media, KoolSpan, Booz Allen Hamilton, and the US Army, where a broad skill set in system engineering, architecture, and administration was developed. Capps holds an Associate's degree in Business Administration and has pursued education at multiple institutions, including ADET Europe and the University of Maryland Global Campus.
