Jay Schmidek

Jay Schmidek has extensive work experience in various roles. Jay started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Alberta in May 2010. Jay then worked as a Software Developer at Codespin Inc from May 2009 to January 2012. Following this, they joined the University of Alberta again as a Research and Teaching Assistant from September 2011 to December 2013. From January 2014 to February 2017, Jay worked as a Data Scientist at Mitre Media. Currently, they are employed at Diffbot as a Machine Learning Engineer, starting from March 2017.

Jay Schmidek attended the University of Alberta from 2006 to 2010, where they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Following that, they pursued further education and attended the University of Alberta from 2011 to 2014, where they completed their Grad School in Computer Science.
