John Renken

John Renken, CPD, is the CEO of Sales Platoon, a premier DoD SkillBridge program that develops exceptional sales professionals and assists veterans in transitioning to civilian careers. Renken also serves as a Strategic Advisor for Diffbot, a Sales, Mindset, and Leadership Coach at Southwestern Consulting, and the Owner of Tactical Traveler, a B2B travel solutions company. With a robust military background, Renken served as a 5th Special Forces Combatives Instructor in the US Army for 20 years, where notable achievements included leading the Ft. Campbell Combatives team to success in Army Championships and training the King of Saudi Arabia's security team. A seasoned educator, Renken has also taught combatives at West Point and trained NATO forces in Afghanistan. Additionally, Renken has experience as a Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker and as a Team Leader in the 101st Airborne Division. Educational qualifications include a degree from North Central University.
