Marco Burgers is the Head of ICT Services at DIFFER (The Dutch Institute for Fundamental Energy Research), where they are responsible for the entire ICT infrastructure and oversee various migrations and security measures. With over 25 years of experience in the IT sector, Marco has held various roles including IT professional, consultant, and team lead. Prior to joining DIFFER in 2021 as an employee, Marco worked as an ICT consultant, contributing to significant projects that enhanced the organization's technological capabilities. Marco has also managed IT systems across several organizations, including Gemeente Deurne and Com4 Automatisering. In addition, Marco has pursued continuous education in information technology, management, and cybersecurity.
