Martin van Breukelen

Martin van Breukelen is currently the Institute Manager at DIFFER - Dutch Institute for Fundamental Energy Research. They earned a Doctorandus degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and later received a Doctorate in Aardwetenschappen from the same institution. Previously, they worked as a forensic researcher at the Nederlands Forensisch Instituut and served as the Managing Director of HFML-FELIX at Radboud University. Martin began their academic journey with a thesis focused on Peruvian stalagmites, examining Holocene temperature and rainfall variability.
