Liz Warner is the CEO and Founder of Different Kind, an online store that stocks goods from ethical and socially-minded producers and aims to shift shopping habits to create social change. They served as Chief Executive Officer of Comic Relief from 2016 to 2019, where they led a three-year modernization, initiated a restructure for sustainability, and brought in non-white saviour fundraising films and an African filmmakers’ scheme. They founded betty and served as Chief Executive Officer from 2001 to 2015, a television company producing BAFTA- and Emmy-winning programming that gave marginalized voices a mainstream platform with global reach. At Channel 4 (1997–2001), they were Commissioning Editor, overseeing development and buying popular factual programmes from the first Big Brother and the original Grand Designs to the first Nigella, Gordon Ramsay, and Nigel Slater. They were a Board Member at Left Bank Pictures Ltd. from 2019 to 2025.
