Ulrich Baumann

Ulrich Baumann is a seasoned professional in the field of computer vision and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Lead of the Computer Vision Team at Meero since January 2022, focusing on managing AI/CV software development for automated image editing and generation within the e-commerce sector. Prior to this role, Ulrich co-founded autoRetouch in February 2020, where responsibilities included developing core AI and computer vision algorithms for automated image editing at scale. Ulrich's earlier experience includes a position as a Data Scientist at E. Breuninger GmbH & Co., where work centered on AI use-cases in e-commerce, and a doctoral research position at Bosch. Ulrich holds a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Freiburg and has also studied at the University of Oregon.
