Neil Thomas

Neil Thomas has over 28 years of work experience in the IT industry. Neil began their career in 1993 as a Unix Administrator for Suffolk County Council. In 1996, they joined Linklaters as a Strategy Consultant, Infrastructure Team Leader, NT Support Engineer, and IT Support. In 2010, they moved to Geomerics as an IT Manager, where they completely transformed and rebuilt their entire infrastructure. In 2013, they joined ARM as a Senior Systems Administrator, where they were responsible for server hardware, server OS, and other related tasks. In 2016, they worked for both Telensa and Capita Case and Record Solutions in the roles of Senior Network Operations Engineer and Configuration Systems Engineer, respectively. Neil is currently employed as an IT Manager at DiffusionData since 2022.

Neil Thomas began their educational journey at Penyrheol from 1982 to 1987. Neil then attended Gorseinon Technical College from 1987 to 1989, where they studied Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. Finally, they pursued a degree in Computer Science at the University of Bristol from 1989 to 1992.
