Carum Basra has extensive experience in advocacy and campaigns, currently serving as the Head of Advocacy & Campaigns at di:ga communications since 2025. Prior to this role, Carum was a Deputy Director of Engagement at Unchecked UK and held the position of Senior Policy Advisor at the Institute of Directors from 2019 to 2020. Carum's earlier work includes two positions at FGS Global, where they were an Associate and then a Senior Associate from 2015 to 2018. Carum graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2014 and earned a Master of Laws in International Corporate Governance with Distinction from Queen's University Belfast in 2019.
