Jon Date

Jon Date is an experienced communications and advocacy professional currently serving as Managing Director and Director of Advocacy at di:ga communications since January 2020. In this role, Jon collaborates with the CEO and senior leadership to operate a strategy and communications agency that supports notable not-for-profit clients such as Chatham House, Greenpeace, and the UN. Additionally, Jon holds the position of Head of Advocacy and Campaigns and serves as a Trustee at Spotlight on Corruption. Previous roles include Head of Government Relations at Oxfam, Head of External Affairs at the International Longevity Centre - UK, and Senior Advocacy Manager at ActionAid UK. Jon's career began at Blue Rubicon, evolving through various positions at Which? and ActionAid UK. Jon earned a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.
