Emily Koster

Emily Koster is an experienced professional in development strategy and operations, currently serving as the Director of Development Strategy & Operations at DigDeep since May 2022, with previous roles in the organization including Manager of Development Strategy and Operations and Strategic Partnerships Manager. Prior to DigDeep, Emily Koster worked at Asante Africa Foundation from December 2017 to May 2022 as the Director of Fundraising and Strategic Partnerships and Manager of Grants and Gender Programs, contributing to the organization’s mission of educating children in African countries. Earlier experience includes a consulting role at KPMG US from March 2013 to May 2016, focusing on conflict minerals and tax administration, and a position as Chief of Staff overseeing tax administrative operations. Emily Koster holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature and Gender and Women's Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a Doctor of Law from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law, specializing in Business and Tax Law.
