Nora Nelson

Research Director

Nora Nelson serves as a Climate Change Specialist at the FAO, focusing on key issues such as greening agriculture, water scarcity, and climate action in the Near East and North Africa. In addition, Nelson holds the position of Resilience Lead at the National Science Foundation, contributing to water systems advancement. With a strong background in research and analysis, Nelson is the Research Director at DIGDEEP Water and has previously worked in leadership roles with various organizations, including Management Systems International and The Cloudburst Group. Academic qualifications include advanced degrees in International Relations and Natural Resources, complemented by a Bachelor's in Environmental Science and Biology, as well as specialized training in coastal ecology and natural resource management.
