Edvardas Smitas

Edvardas Smitas has a long and varied work experience. In 2004, they were the Manager at ICG Computers ltd, where they were responsible for computer hardware sales, computer repairs, and business customer service. In 2005, they worked as a Mobile phone expert at Bite Lithuania Ltd, where they repaired mobile phones, reinstalled software for mobile and smart phones, and configured smart phones. From 2007 to 2013, they worked at OST Express as an IT Administrator, where they installed and administered Windows server 2003 R2 x64, provided support and maintenance for 150 desktop computers users with Windows XP and 30 Samsung TC220W thin client Display with Windows embedded standard 7, and provided maintenance for IIS, DNS, AD, Microsoft Exchange 2007, file and printer server, and Microsoft Hyper-v server version: 6. From 2013 to 2014, they worked at Acrodex / City of Calgary as a Technical Support Analyst 1. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at UAB BALTLANTA as a Technical Support Specialist. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Telia Lietuva in two roles: Technical Solutions Manager and IT Business Manager. In their role as Technical Solutions Manager, they worked with projects for business clients, most of which related to CCTV, Access control, Servers, Cloud and WiFi coverage on client sites. In 2019, they worked at Blackhawk Integration as the Blackhawk Integration. Since 2022, they have been the Project Lead at Digi Security Systems.

Edvardas Smitas completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Vilnius Gediminas Technical University between 2008 and 2010. Prior to this, they obtained a Higher Education in Computer Science from Vilnius College between 2002 and 2006. Edvardas also completed High School in Lithuania, Alytus between 1988 and 2000. In addition, Edvardas Smitas has a certification in A+ from CompTIA, which they obtained in March 2014.
