Katri Nokkonen

Katri Nokkonen is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Communications Manager and previously as Communications Officer at Digia Plc since February 2014, Katri has developed a strong expertise in content creation, audience relations, and media management. Prior experience includes positions at the Bank of Finland as Communications Assistant, where responsibilities focused on in-house publications and web content, and a journalism role at Alma360, creating stories across diverse topics. Additional roles include Client Executive at Pohjoisranta Burson-Marsteller Oy, where work involved client communications, and a communications trainee position at the Academy of Finland. Early career experiences also include journalism and photography at Vartti Itä-Uusimaa and an internship at Gummerus Kustannus. Katri holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences with a focus on Communications from the University of Helsinki and has also studied at Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
