Dr Reshmi Raj

Dr. Reshmi Raj is a skilled researcher specializing in point-of-care healthcare technology and biomaterial science. They completed their PhD focused on mammalian extracellular matrix biomaterials, developing a patented hydrogel technology for surface modification of biomedical devices, which demonstrated improved biocompatibility. Dr. Raj has held various positions, including Research and Development Scientist at DigiBiomics and QuantLase Laboratory, and served as an Assistant Scientist at QuantLase Imaging Laboratory. Their work includes extensive expertise in biocompatibility testing per ISO 10993 standards and is currently engaged in translational research for clinical applications. They earned a Master of Philosophy in Biomedical Technology and a Doctor of Philosophy in Biological Sciences from the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology.
