Christopher Prew

Christopher Prew possesses a diverse background with experience in emergency response, information security, and culinary arts. As a 911 dispatcher for the City of Portland from March 2016 to July 2022, Christopher handled over 25,000 calls annually for police, fire, and medical services. Currently serving as an Associate Information Security Engineer at DigiCert since July 2022, responsibilities include defending against DDoS attacks and managing customer interactions within a global security operations center. Prior military experience includes roles as a Culinary Specialist in the US Army, with deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan, and as a Senior Culinary Management NCO in the Oregon Army National Guard, overseeing meal planning and preparation. Christopher holds an Associate's degree in Patisserie and Baking from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, and is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism at the University of Arizona.
