Shane Jacobs has extensive work experience in sales and account management. Shane started in 2001 as a Store Manager at World of Home Videos, where they were responsible for running the shops and handling customer inquiries. In 2004, they worked as a Sales Promoter at Ads-up, promoting various products to the general public.

In 2006, Jacobs became a Sales and Marketing Executive at GDM Building and Carpentry, where they developed marketing plans and strategies to improve brand exposure. Shane then joined Sanlam as a Contractor in the Auditing department, where they audited mandates and ensured compliance with policies and procedures.

Shane then became the Regional Vice President, responsible for implementing and executing the sales strategy for Northern European markets, focusing on new business adoption and client retention in a highly competitive space.

Shane Jacobs obtained a Diploma in IT Security from IT Academy in the year 2019. Prior to that, they completed their ND Cost and Management Accounting degree at Cape Peninsula University of Technology from 2004 to 2007. Their secondary education was at Pinelands High School from 1999 to 2003, but no degree or field of study is specified.
