Tammy Green

Tammy Green has an extensive work experience, starting with their role as a Software Engineer at Novell from 1995 to 2005. Tammy then worked at Novell, Inc. as a Distinguished Engineer from 2005 to 2009, where they led the Security Review Board and improved the export review process for products. From 2009 to 2016, Tammy held various roles at Blue Coat Systems, including Senior Principal Security Architect, Security Architect and Vulnerability Response Director, User Identity Architect and Vulnerability Response Lead, and Product Security Architect. In these roles, they focused on driving secure development practices, designing security solutions, fixing vulnerabilities, and achieving certifications for flagship products. Since 2016, they have worked at Symantec as a Senior Principal Security Architect, where they created and enforced security processes and procedures, conducted vulnerability assessments, and trained teams for vulnerability response. In 2019, Tammy joined Broadcom Inc. as a Senior Principal Security Architect and served in this role for a brief period before taking up their current position as Vice President of PKI Ops at DigiCert, Inc.

Tammy Green obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Tulane University from 1988 to 1992. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University from 1992 to 1995.
