Doug Ehrle

Director of Research Development at DigiFlight

Doug Ehrle has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Doug started their career in the US Army, where they served as an OH58A/C Crew Chief, Mechanic, and Aerial Observer from December 1982 to May 1989. Doug then transitioned to the role of AH64A/D IP/SP AH64A MTP in the US Army from May 1989 to July 2008.

In 2008, Doug began working at VT Group as a Senior Weapons Analyst. Doug held this position from May 2008 to February 2021. During their time at VT Group, they also served as a Task Lead from January 2018 to June 2019.

From 2008 to 2021, Doug also worked at AEPCO as a Weapons System Analyst for the Longbow Crew Trainer, starting in May 2008 and ending in February 2021.

Most recently, Doug joined DigiFlight, Inc. in September 2019 as an Analyst for the Future Armed Reconnaissance Aircraft project. Doug then took on the role of Capture/Program Manager for Foreign Military Sales Programs from February 2021 to April 2023. Currently, they serve as the Director of Research Development at DigiFlight, Inc. starting in April 2023.
