Jon Wooten

Senior System Engineer at DigiFlight

Jon Wooten has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jon started their career in 1995, serving in the US Army as an Operations NCOIC and later as a Mission Manager/Platoon Sergeant. In these roles, they managed national-level reporting missions, conducted signals intelligence analysis, and supervised long-term analysis projects. Jon also oversaw the fielding and testing of advanced electronic processing and dissemination systems.

After leaving the military, Wooten joined the National Security Agency as a Branch Chief/Operations NCOIC. In this role, they managed a program for communications externals to the intelligence community and was responsible for establishing system security plans.

Wooten then transitioned to CGI Federal, where they held various positions. Jon served as an IT Systems OT&E Consultant, overseeing operational test and evaluation efforts for intelligence community programs and projects. Jon also served as a TTO Staffing Lead, determining candidate suitability for task orders and coordinating bid decisions with the prime contractor.

Later, Wooten joined BCT LLC as a Systems Engineer. During this time, they supported MSM and RTRG test teams in Columbia, Maryland.

Currently, Wooten is a Senior System Engineer at DigiFlight Inc.

Overall, Jon Wooten has demonstrated expertise in systems engineering, operational test and evaluation, and personnel management throughout their career.

Jon Wooten attended Anne Arundel Community College from 2010 to 2013, where they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Business Management and Information Systems. From 2013 to 2017, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Networks and Security at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
