Chai Lor

Chai Lor is a highly experienced Process Development Chemist at Digilens Inc. since June 2018, previously serving as an R&D Chemist Intern. Prior experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Berkeley Lab from April 2016 to April 2018. Chai's academic journey includes extensive research as a Graduate Researcher in Biological Engineering and Small-scale Technology at UC Merced from January 2008 to October 2015, along with positions as Safety and Lab Manager, Teaching Assistant, and Undergraduate Research Assistant. Additionally, Chai held a Health Disparities Fellow position at the Center of Excellence on Health Disparities from August 2011 to May 2012 and completed an Undergraduate Internship at the Center of Computation Biology in May 2007. Chai earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, Biophysics from the University of California, Merced, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in the same field from the same institution.
