Robert Young

Independent Board Member at DigiLens

Robert Young is an experienced executive and venture capitalist who has held various positions in both the public and private sector. Robert is currently an independent board member at DigiLens. Prior to this, they served as the chairman and CEO of Curl Corporation, a position they held from 1998 to 2002. Robert also served as the managing director of Mirador Capital LLC from 2004 to 2011.

Young began their career at IBM in 1968, where they held various positions over the course of 18 years, eventually becoming president of IBM Instruments. Robert left IBM in 1986 to join Dillon Read as a managing partner in their venture fund division and head of technology banking and corporate finance. Robert left Dillon Read in 1997 to join Curl Corporation as its chairman and CEO.

Young has a long history of working in both the public and private sector, with a focus on technology and finance. Robert has been a driving force in the growth of many companies, both as an executive and as a venture capitalist. Robert's experience and expertise have made him a valuable asset to the board of DigiLens.

Robert Young's educational career includes a Ph. D. in physical chemistry, physics, and math from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
