Shibu Abraham

Shibu Abraham has held various roles in the chemical engineering and materials fields since 2003. Shibu began their career as a Research Fellow at CSIR in 2003, followed by a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Georgetown University in 2007. In 2011, they became a Materials Chemist at Serious Energy, where they designed, synthesized, and analyzed organic liquid crystalline/polymeric materials from reactive monomers, and developed formulations of optical quality films and next generation thermally switchable energy saving windows. In 2012, they moved to SBG Labs, where they served as a Chemical Engineer and designed, developed, and qualified new formulations for passive and switchable displays, as well as concept explorations and development of new technology. Finally, in 2013, they joined Digilens Inc., where they held the roles of Materials Director, Sr. Materials Director, and Chemical Engineering/Materials Manager.

Shibu Abraham attained their Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Kerala between 2002 and 2007. Prior to that, they completed a BS and MS in Chemistry from S. B. between 1994 and 2001.
