Shawn Zhang

Shawn Zhang began their career in 2003 as a Software Development Engineer at Ansys Inc. In 2006, they joined Mercury Computer Systems, Visualization Sciences Group, where they held the positions of Product Leader and Senior System Applications Engineer. In 2009, they moved to FEI - Visualization Sciences Group as a Product Expert. In 2014, they founded DigiM Solution and was appointed as the Managing Director.

Shawn Zhang obtained their B.Eng in Naval Architecture from Harbin Engineering University between 1993 and 1997. Shawn then went on to receive their M. Eng in Ocean Engineering from the same institution between 1996 and 1999. Following this, they obtained an M.S in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Rutgers University between 2000 and 2002, and a Ph.D in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from Rutgers University between 1999 and 2003. In addition to their academic qualifications, Zhang has obtained several certifications, including Conceptual and Strategic Sales from Miller Heiman in 2014, Professional Business Language from the Boston Language Institute in 2013, Comsol Multiphysics from COMSOL, Inc. in 2008, and Fluent Software from Fluent Inc. in 2003.
