Ian Thomson

Ian Thomson is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in backend and GUI development. Current position at Digital Barriers since July 2023 follows a tenure at Esri from June 2018 to July 2023. Previous roles include Software Engineer at Hutchison Technologies and self-employed work from April 2016 to April 2017. Prior to that, Ian held senior engineering positions at Weatherford and ION Geophysical between 2007 and 2016. Ian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh, earned from 2000 to 2004.
