Charles T.

Charles T. is an experienced professional in the fields of 5G, Software Defined Networks, and Data Analytics, currently serving as Principal Technologist and Technical Lead at Digital Catapult since September 2023. Prior roles include Research Manager and Technical Lead at Samsung Research UK from February 2023 to August 2023, as well as various positions at Digital Catapult, where responsibilities included Lead 5G Technologist and Senior 5G Technologist from April 2020 to January 2023. Charles's earlier experience encompasses a Staff Engineer role at InterDigital Communications, a Researcher position at Fujitsu Laboratories of Europe LTD, and a Research Fellow at the University of South Wales. Charles holds a Ph.D. from The University of Sheffield focusing on 3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE) / 4G, a Master of Science in Digital Radio Frequency Wireless Communication from the University of Leeds, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Makerere University, Uganda.
