Matthew Keys

Matthew Keys is the founder and owner of Solano Media LLC, a digital publishing company in Northern California, where publications include TheDesk. Since April 2013, multiple contributions as a writer have been made to publications such as VentureBeat, California Globe, The Blot Magazine, and Medium, focusing on the intersections of technology and policy, particularly in media, law, and surveillance. Current editorial contributions are provided to Digital Content Next, with emphasis on broadcast media and streaming video services. Previous roles include digital editor for Comstock's Magazine, where digital platforms and media partnerships were managed, and reporter for Winters Express, covering community events and producing multimedia content. Earlier experience includes managing editor for Grasswire, deputy social media editor for Thomson Reuters, and various contributions to Questex's StreamTV Insider.
