Simon Koster

Simon Koster has a diverse work experience. Simon is currently working at Digital Currency Group as the Chief Strategy Officer since September 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of DCG Real Estate from September 2021 to September 2022. Before joining Digital Currency Group, Simon was involved with The Collective, where they held various roles including Chief Executive Officer from May 2021 to September 2021. Simon also served as the Group Development and Operations Director from March 2021 to May 2021, and as the Group Development Director from October 2019 to March 2021. From 2010 to 2019, Simon worked at JDS Development Group as a Principal. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Project Manager at Tishman Construction Corp from 2007 to 2010. Simon's work experience also includes being a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan College of Engineering from 2005 to 2007 and at Rutgers University from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, they have experience as an Emergency Medical Technician at Chatham Emergency Squad from 2003 to 2005 and as a Materials Specialist at ExxonMobil from 2003 to 2004. Simon also served as a Trip Leader at Overland Summers from 2003 to 2005.

Simon Koster received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Materials Engineering from Rutgers University between 1999 and 2003. Simon then pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, in 2005, they completed Leadership Training in Mountaineering and Sea Kayaking at NOLS.
