Daniel Espes

Daniel Espes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Daniel started their career in 2015 as an ST-läkare Internmedicin at Aleris Sverige, where they worked until December 2018. In 2014, they also worked as an ST-läkare Internmedicin at Akademiska sjukhuset, specializing in Endokrinologi och Diabetologi. From 2016 onwards, they worked as a Post-doc at Uppsala universitet and also founded their own company, Espesial Medical AB. In 2019, they co-founded OneTwo Analytics, and in 2020, they joined Region Gävleborg as a Senior Consultant Internal Medicine.

Daniel Espes has a diverse education history. Daniel obtained their first degree from Uppsala University in the field of Chemistry in 2005. Daniel then pursued further studies in medicine and earned their medical degree from Uppsala University in 2010. In 2012, they became a licensed physician after completing their training at Akademiska Sjukhuset. In 2013, they gained knowledge in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) through a program at Uppsala Clinical Research Center. Continuing their academic journey, Daniel completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at Uppsala University in 2016. Finally, they achieved the title of Associate Professor (Docent) in Medical Cell Biology from Uppsala University in 2019.
