Dena Weitzman

Dena Weitzman currently serves as the Senior Director of Medical Affairs at Digital Diagnostics since March 2020, having previously held roles in the company including Director of Medical Affairs and Customer Success Manager. Prior to this, Dena was the Analytics Lead for the Registry at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons from September 2018 to February 2020, acting as an analytical liaison to enhance publication and dissemination of registry data. Dena also served as the Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs at Midwestern University from August 2015 to September 2018, acting as a key liaison to various university support services. Earlier experience includes the role of Vice President of Optometry at the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago, focusing on electronic health record implementation and departmental management, and a position as a Reliability Engineer at General Mills, where mechanical reliability programs were developed. Dena holds a Doctorate in Optometry from Indiana University Bloomington, completed a residency in Pediatric and Binocular Vision at the Illinois College of Optometry, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
