Judith Obonyo

Judith Obonyo has a diverse work experience in project management and operations. Judith started their career at Tns Market Research as a Project Specialist from April 2009 to February 2012. Judith then joined Insights by Kantar, where they worked as a Project Manager from March 2012 to June 2016, handling project costing, management, execution, and coordination. Judith also took on the additional responsibility of vendor management across Africa. In July 2016, they were promoted to Team Lead Manager at Insights by Kantar, overseeing the day-to-day project management activities of the team.

Later, they joined Digital Divide Data (DDD) in March 2017 as a Senior Project Manager. In this role, they mentored and coached the project management team, managed complex projects, ensured project smooth running, liaised with other departments for troubleshooting, and presented proposals and reports to clients. Additionally, they managed the National Museums of Kenya digitization project. In June 2018, they were promoted to Operations Director, Content Conversion and Machine Learning at DDD.

Judith Obonyo has a diverse education history. In 2005, they attended the Intraglobal Training Institute and earned a Diploma in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication. Following this, from 2007 to 2011, they pursued a Bachelor of Education (BEd) in Economics and Business Studies at the University of Nairobi. During the same period, from 2007 to 2008, they also studied at the Nairobi Institute of Business Studies and obtained a Higher Diploma in Business Management (ABE). Lastly, from 2015 to 2021, Judith attended the University of Nairobi once again and completed a Master of Arts (MA) in Project Planning and Management.
