John Freeman

John Freeman has extensive experience in the telecommunications and data center industries, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Digital Edge DC since January 2020. Under John Freeman's leadership, Digital Edge focuses on high growth markets in the Asia Pacific region, supported by Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Prior to this role, John Freeman held various senior positions at Tata Communications from 2004 to January 2020, including Group President and Chief Legal Officer. John Freeman also served as General Counsel at TATA POWER INTERNATIONAL PTE LIMITED and held the position of Non-Executive Director at Pihana Pacific Ltd. Additionally, John Freeman worked as General Counsel at Fraser Stryker Law Firm, specializing in telecommunications, mergers and acquisitions, construction, and corporate transactional matters. An alumnus of the University of Minnesota Law School, John Freeman earned a JD in Law and also holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
