Amir Oren

Amir Oren has an extensive work experience spanning over 20 years. Amir began their career in 1998 as a Senior Consultant for Arthur Andersen in Business Process Risk Consulting. In 2000, they moved to MUFG as a Senior Analyst in Leveraged Finance. In 2004, they joined WestLB Panmure Ltd. / WestLB AG as the Director of Global Infrastructure, Corporate & Structured Finance. In 2009, they became the Director of Business Development at Movilot. From 2014 to 2015, they were the Director of Business Development, LatAm at Digital Edge Ventures, where they established a regional Latin America hub for a New York based information technology firm specializing in customized platforms and solutions. Amir also coordinated the development and execution of government procured technology projects, including a customized global Maritime Administration Platform (MAP) for the Panama Maritime Authority. In 2015, Amir joined Smart City Solutions as the Director of Business Development. Amir assembled a consortium to execute a long-term concession in 2016 with the City of Georgetown encompassing 7,500 metered parking spaces (GeoPark). Amir also modeled and established the GeoPark project valuation, developed and executed the GeoPark project, and built an executive and field team reaching 75+ persons in size.

Amir Oren obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA from Hofstra University between 1995 and 1998, specializing in Banking and Finance. Amir then continued their education at NYU Stern School of Business, where they earned their Master of Business Administration - MBA between 2003 and 2005, focusing on Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Corporate Finance, and Accounting.
