Michael Petrov

Michael Petrov has 20 years of experience in information architecture, optimization, and operations. Michael began their career in 1995 as a Programmer at TRS of NYC and Teachers Retirement System. In 1996, they became the Director of Technology at Snickelways Interactive. A year later, they took on the same role at Snickelways. In 2000, they founded Digital Edge Ventures and assumed the role of Founder and Chief Executive Officer. In this role, they have worked on projects such as mainframe and client server integration for Mellon Bank, extranet systems for Sumitomo Bank, and architecture and processing workflow for the alternative investment division of US Bank. Additionally, they have experience in security expertise for Nuclear Power Plants, having been educated as a Nuclear Engineer and spending six years creating proprietary programming for monitoring and automation of processes of Nuclear Power Plants.

Michael Petrov obtained their High School Diploma from PS9 in 1986. Michael then attended Saratov State Technical University, where they earned their MS in Physics in 1992. In 2021, they obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
